I Heart San Diego

October 13, 2011

I have to admit it: I love San Diego. Parts of it anyway. There are far too many people and traffic and buildings for my taste. But the sun and surf framed by distant mountains are things I miss from California. And, of course, I desperately miss my good friends who call the Golden State their home.

So, when I had the chance to go to San Diego recently for work, I decided to head down a little early to spend some time with my friends Amy and Dan. While I was there, they indulged me by spending an evening at the beach with me. I’ve never really been the type to just lay in the sand, but I have always enjoyed the crashing waves and beautiful sunsets.

I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pictures from the trip. I took these with a Canon S95 point-and-shoot camera. The nice part is that the camera allows you to play with the shutter speed and aperture to take some amazing photos.
