Repost: What a Difference a Year Makes

Even when you find a good wine, you can’t be sure that you will like it year after year.

That’s because so much of the taste of the wine’s taste is dependent upon the grapes themselves. And the grapes, of course, are dependent on the weather to which they have been subjected. Winemakers are chemists at heart and do what they can with what they are given, but weather can be a game changer.
