Sedona Beauty I

September 20, 2012

Thought it was about time I shared some of the photos I took while in Sedona. The region was beautiful and awe-inspiring.

I have no idea what kind of butterfly this is, but these enormous beauties were found throughout town.

Every evening, the hummingbirds would come out and flit around the hotel.

Just outside of Sedona is a popular swimming hole called Slide Rock State Park. It’s insanely expensive to get into ($20 a car), but it is a beautiful area. If you hike down the canyon, you can get away from the crowds.

Tucked in the canyon of Slide Rock State Park is an old cabin. We couldn’t quite figure out what it was for, but we thought it might have been some sort of irrigation shed.
